Susanne McGinnis was born
in New York City and has lived there most of her
life. Largely self-taught, she has taken for

member of the 1100 Watercolor Society, a group of
watercolorists who were students of the late master
Mario Cooper at the Art Students’ League.

www.ketubah.com and www.artvows.com to create
designs for their exclusive Signature Collection.
(Ketubahs are Jewish wedding contracts with
elaborate artwork surrounding the text.) She
designed an original font and filigree banner for
their “Timeless and Classic Monogram” Ketubah. Her
Ketubah design “Romanza” in rich gold is among the
most popular and was featured in
www.mazelmoments.com “Top 5 Ketubahs & Trends”. Both
have been on exhibition at the Jewish Museum Design
Shop in New York City.
For the young at art, she has taught children to
create kaleidoscopic collages. They learn aesthetic
principles (symmetry, repetition, rhythm, pattern,
color) while having fun with kaleidoscopes.
Her works are in many individual and corporate
